Repurposing: the using of an item in a new place.
Hack: Using a piece of Spaghetti to light candles that are in places the lighter won't reach. I have not done this PERSONALLY but I did watch my little bro do it. I can confirm that it burned VERY slowly and stayed lit, allowing him to light the lantern with ease. It didn't post a fire hazard, either.
