Tried and True: Keeping it in one piece

Keeping everything in one piece without it getting messed up, be it power cables or packaged items.

Hack: Using a half knot to keep extension cables from getting unplugged.
We used this on a bouncy house, for the blower cord and extension cable. Worked like a charm, and neither cord was messed up either.

Hack: Using a hair clip to keep ear buds from getting tangled in your pocket.
I did this with a binder clip and success has happened. They're tangle free!

Hack: Washing Screenprinted shirts inside out to save the design.
Obscure sounding, yes. It works well and I haven't ruined a screenprinted shirt in six years now. A screenprinted shirt dealer told me this gem in 2007 at the fair when I brought my dragon shirt, which still looks almost brand new six years later.
